ASMgrid Turnkey Development Environment
The ASMgrid development environment incorporates all the necessary hardware and software tools required to build ZigBee -based and PLC-based applications. The ASMgrid development board utilizes the highly integrated ASMgrid1.0 silicon device, providing ample performance headroom to address the development needs of a wide range of products, from smart meters to smart appliances. The development board also features a number of expansion options, providing developers maximum flexibility in configuring a platform to match their end-system.
ASMgrid's development environment also includes a comprehensive software offering: demonstration application examples, protocol stacks, software libraries, and drivers. ASMgrid implements an easy-to-use API and hardware abstraction layer to simplify software development. The ASMgrid development board supports a number of industry-standard software development kits.

Software Development Environment
The ASMgrid development board supports a number of industry-standard software development and debug tools. With Accent’s support, customers may select from a number of tool options based on criteria such as tool familiarity, ease-of-use, and cost. Each development board includes a complete software library needed for out-of-box operation and accelerated application development. For example, in addition to the ZigBee Pro and Powerline Communication protocol stack, Accent also provides demo reference application software.
