DSP BASEsoc Platform

 

Overview

 

To address the growing number of cost-sensitive applications incorporating signal processing functionality, Accent offers its DSP BASEsoc Platform.  The platform utilizes a proprietary DSP core developed by Accent to solve continuing need for embedded systems for highly efficient signal processing capability.  For this platform, Accent has pre-integrated and pre-verified a wide number of system peripherals with its proprietary DSP utilizing an AMBA bus architecture to dramatically reduce IC development time and risk.  The finished platform provides a turnkey solution where customers can differentiate their offering via software as well as selection of peripherals.

 

Description

 

Leveraging its expertise in embedded system design and processor architecture, Accent has developed the DSP BASEsoc Platform to meet the specific needs for moderate performance applications requiring lowest power and cost. The DSP core is reconfigurable and extendible enabling customization from the size/width of memory to width of datapath.  In addition to a number of library functions provided by Accent, a customer may also use our software and hardware development tools for application development.  Alternatively, Accent offers these capabilities via its Embedded Software Design Services.
