Processor Knowledge Base
Accent’s processor expertise encompasses industry standard cores such as ARM. As an ARM Approved Design Center, we have implemented numerous ARM-based SoCs with the following cores: ARM7TDMI, ARM720, ARM946, ARM926, and ARM1136.
Our processor expertise also extends to a number of architectures from vendors such as MIPS, ARC as well as with cost-sensitive microcontrollers such as the 8051 and x86 cores.
For multimedia and signal-processing applications, Accent has designed and implemented in numerous customer solutions its own proprietary configurable, extendible DSP core.
Accent can and has leveraged our knowledge of different architectures and their trade-offs to assist customers in selecting the proper processor for their application.
Complementary System Expertise
Accent system expertise goes hand-in-hand with our processor expertise. We integrate our deep knowledge of various bus systems, wide range of memory types and interfaces, and hurdles associated with integrating particular types of system blocks to explore product tradeoffs and to select the best architecture that meets your requirements.
We have worked with numerous AMBA bus-versions as well as PC-related busses, such as PCI and ISA. In the area of memory, Accent’s solutions span numerous popular industry types including: RAM, ROM, FLASH, SDRAM, DDR SDRAM. Some examples of blocks that we have integrated as part of an embedded processor system are:
