Analog Mixed Signal

Accent’s capabilities include the most complex analog, analog-to-digital, digital-to-analog and RF designs.

Our expertise comes from the design of stand-alone analog blocks and the vertically integrated approach to mixed-signal SoC development, where all aspects related to analog and digital systems must be in harmony and must be carefully investigated.

Key Competencies

From a broad skill set perspective, Accent works with our customers across a number of areas to insure product success.  These include:

  • Analog Mixed Signal Specification Development
  • Target Technology Selection
  • Architectural Analysis
  • Circuit Design and Physical Verification
  • Device testing, debugging and characterization
  • Technology Migration
  • Multiple Sourcing  (Design to Multiple Foundries)

We analyze and rigorously check the continuous interaction between the electrical and layout design of analog and RF blocks using a consolidated design methodology and advanced modeling tools for electrical simulation with various levels of tradeoffs, such as simulation speed vs. accuracy, and for mixed-mode co-simulation.

At Accent, we’ve designed as well as migrated a variety of integratable analog IP cores for mixed analog/digital SoCs spanning several process technologies. Some examples include:

Proven Application Expertise

In addition to developing and working with a full assortment of analog blocks, we have also applied these across complete system level functions in a number of market spaces

For example, in the wireless area, we have implemented baseband solutions which included: general purpose PLLs, low frequency VCOs, medium frequency VCOs, oscillators, PLLs for audio, bandgap references, A/D converters, and high speed DACs.

We utilize our proven Analog/Mixed Design flow and design expertise in other areas such as low power, embedded systems and wireless to provide complete digital and analog solutions to solve our customer's product needs.
