Federico Arcelli

Federico Arcelli | Chief Executive Officer

 

Joining Accent in 2007, Federico Arcelli brings more than 20 years of experience in the semiconductor, IP and communications industries. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Arcelli worked as Corporate Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing at VeriSilicon, a leading Design Foundry headquartered in North America. He also worked as Vice President of Corporate Marketing and Vice President of Sales EMEA at CEVA (NASDAQ: CEVA), a leading licensor of semiconductor IP. In this role, he contributed to more than $50M in revenue generation.

 

 

Mr. Arcelli advanced to CEVA from Texas Instruments, where he held various management positions including DSP and OMAP third-party Manager and European ASIC Marketing Manager. Earlier, he acted as Engineering Manager for Italtel S.p.A. (Italy). At the beginning of his career, he held various R&D positions at Allied Signal Bendix, Baltimore, MD and at Agusta Sistemi S.p.A. (Italy).

 

Mr. Arcelli received an Electrical Engineering degree, summa cum laude,  from University of Rome "La Sapienza".

Giacomo Del Grande

Giacomo Del Grande | Chief Financial Officer

 

Giacomo Del Grande brings more than 16 years of experience in finance, administration, planning and control. Since 2007, Mr. Del Grande has been responsible for all aspects of finance and human resources at Accent.

 

Prior to joining the company, Mr. Del Grande spent eight years in the semiconductor industry, working as Corporate Finance and Investment Controller for STMicroelectronics. In this role, Mr. Del Grande was responsible for several important transactions, from M&A to strategic alliances, joint ventures, minority investments and divestitures.

 

Prior to joining STMicroelectronics, Mr. Del Grande held key positions including Head of Investors' Relations (NYSE) at Fila Holding, Strategic Planning and Business Development at Elsag Bailey Process Automation and Strategic Consultant at Bain.

 

He holds a degree in Management and Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan.

Sergio Rossi

Sergio Rossi | Senior VP Engineering & Operations

 

Sergio Rossi joined Accent in 2000 as Business Manager. Five years later, he advanced to VP of Major Accounts Business, followed two years later by a role leading the Engineering Group.

 

Prior to joining Accent, Mr. Rossi worked as Product Manager at Elesco, where he created the design group that became the core of Accent in Genoa.

 

Sergio Rossi holds a PhD in Microelectronics and a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Genoa.

Nedo Speroni

Nedo Speroni | VP Applications

 

Nedo Speroni brings more than 20 years of relevant semiconductor industry experience. Prior to Accent, he spent 11 years at LSI Logic, where he has been managing the European Field Applications organization.

 

Previously, he was senior FAE at Cypress. He started his career at Bull, where he covered various R&D positions.

 

Mr. Speroni holds a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Milan.

Zhu

Min Zhu | VP Operations and General Manager of Accent Microelectronics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd

 

Joining Accent in 2008, Min Zhu brings 25 years of experience in semiconductor design and foundry manufacturing.  Until recently, he has been the President of C-NOVA Microsystems, a leading supplier of Set-Top-Box ICs for the Chinese market. From 2002 to 2007, Mr. Zhu held the position of VP Operations and General Manager at VeriSilicon (Shanghai), where he successfully developed the company business and operations in China.

 

Prior to that, he held several technical management positions at SMIC Shanghai, where he was responsible for advanced CMOS process integration, at the Singapore Institute for Microelectronics, and at Chartered Semiconductor Singapore, where he had the responsibility for foundry strategic Customers program management, contributing to successfully ramping them into high volume production.

 

Mr. Zhu holds a BS in Semiconductor Physics from Fudan University in Shanghai.
