Federico Arcelli | Chief Executive Officer, Head of Worldwide Sales

 

Joining Accent in 2007, Federico Arcelli brings more than 25 years of experience in the semiconductor, IP and communications industries. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Arcelli worked as Corporate Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing at VeriSilicon, a leading Design Foundry headquartered in North America. He also worked as Vice President of Corporate Marketing and Vice President of Sales EMEA at CEVA (NASDAQ: CEVA), a leading licensor of semiconductor IP. In this role, he contributed to more than $50M in revenue generation.

 

Mr. Arcelli advanced to CEVA from Texas Instruments, where he held various management positions including DSP and OMAP third-party Manager and European ASIC Marketing Manager. Earlier, he acted as Engineering Manager for Italtel S.p.A. (Italy). At the beginning of his career, he held various R&D positions at Allied Signal Bendix, Baltimore, MD and at Agusta Sistemi S.p.A. (Italy).

 

Mr. Arcelli received an Electrical Engineering degree, summa cum laude,  from University of Rome "La Sapienza".

Bill Chen | GM & VP Sales, Accent Microelectronics (Shanghai) Ltd.

 

Bill Chen brings more than 17 years of sales as well as technical management experience in the semiconductor industry. 

 

Prior to joining Accent, Bill held business development roles for companies such as NXP Semiconductor and Conexant, where he worked with tier 1 customers in China.  Previously, Bill held supplier development and regional manager roles for Future Electronics and while at Arrow Electronics, he led a field applications team.  Bill began his career with the Nanjing XueGuang Plant as a R&D engineer.

 

He holds a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering from the Changchun Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics.

Giacomo Del Grande | Chief Financial Officer

 

Giacomo Del Grande brings more than 21 years of experience in finance, administration, planning and control. Since 2007, Mr. Del Grande has been responsible for all aspects of finance and human resources at Accent.

 

Prior to joining the company, Mr. Del Grande spent eight years in the semiconductor industry, working as Corporate Finance and Investment Controller for STMicroelectronics. In this role, Mr. Del Grande was responsible for several important transactions, from M&A to strategic alliances, joint ventures, minority investments and divestitures.

 

Prior to joining STMicroelectronics, Mr. Del Grande held key positions including Head of Investors' Relations (NYSE) at Fila Holding, Strategic Planning and Business Development at Elsag Bailey Process Automation and Strategic Consultant at Bain.

 

He holds a degree in Management and Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan.

Michael Navid | VP of Marketing and Business Development

 

Michael Navid brings more than 25 years of relevant experience with a proven track record in fast paced technology driven environments with emphasis on business development, strategy, partnerships, technology/product roadmaps, as well as product development and marketing. In his most recent position as the General Manager for Power Line Communications (PLC) products at Maxim Integrated, he was responsible for the vision, strategy and growth initiatives for the PLC business.

Mr. Navid has been actively involved in the advancement of various communication technologies in the Smart Grid sector and has built strong relationships with major stakeholders and decision makers worldwide. Michael is also one the founders of the G3-PLC Alliance (www.G3-PLC.com). He has been a key contributor in the evolution and proliferation of the G3-PLC as a premier communication technology for the Smart Grid today.

Mr. Navid received a Bachelor of Science in Business Adminstration from West Coast University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from California State University Northridge.

Nedo Speroni | VP of Smart Grid Solutions

 

Nedo Speroni brings more than 25 years of relevant semiconductor industry experience. Prior to Accent, he spent 11 years at LSI Logic, where he has been managing the European Field Applications organization.

 

Previously, he was senior FAE at Cypress. He started his career at Bull, where he covered various R&D positions.

 

Mr. Speroni holds a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Milan.

Cinzia Vescera | VP of Engineering and Operations

 

Cinzia Vescera brings more than 22 years of experience in the electronics and microelectronics industry.

 

Mrs. Vescera joined Accent in 1999 as a System Architect for complex System on a Chip (SoC) design; later on she moved to the Project Management path, covering roles as Project Manager, Program Manger, Account Manager, up to VP of Project Management Office (responsible for the Project Managers Group).

Prior to Accent, Mrs. Vescera worked as ASIC Design Manager at Infotronics and at Bull, where she covered various positions in the ASIC Development Division.

She started her career at Carlo Gavazzi Space (OHB) as R&D and lab engineer for industrial and space equipments.

Cinzia Vescera holds an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Masters degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Milano (Politecnico di Milano).
